So much better looking than the previous gen. At least the top trim got the bose speakers too... unlike the civic's type r. Thanks for the review! I might find some time to give it a test drive myself sometime.

@@sundaymorningdrives I've just been "looking around" at this point. I have a diesel santa fe for hauling the family and haven't been doing lots of long distance drives. Not to mention the crappy traffic in Auckland that just kills fuel consumption. So i've been looking at Hybrids / PHEV family haulers. Not keen on fully electric yet.

@neekras good choice, I think hybrid is the way to go, especially if you intend to use it for long distance family trips. Pure evs are good for daily commuting.

I just came across this review. For any potential buyers I would like to point out so many features not available on NZ top spec RS. Theres no blind spot monitoring, no rear cross traffic alert, no 360 camera, no HUD, no side mirror demister, no auto lock side mirror closing. So disappointed with Honda NZ for not pushing to include these. Chip shortage is what I got advised by sales rep.

Yes, agree, the Honda specs are not the highest in NZ, even for the Type R, lacks Bose Sound System and some safety features..
