After several tests for a year they made me stop using the P50 pro, only as a camera with osmo mobile SE and I bought a Galaxy cheap, slow, . I don't remember how many times I formatted to start a different procedure and gave up. Last night I decided to try one more time with your procedure and finally almost everything works for me. Gmail doesn't want to boot but I downloaded Spark mail and I think I'll fix it. The good thing is that everything works for me, thank you very much.

Hi, I am considering to purchase a P40 Pro but need some advice to ensure I can later install HO4 + GMS, same as yours following this guide. Thus may I ask: 1. From where did you purchase the device? (i.e. is it the China version or another?) 2. Did it come with HOS preinstalled or how was it possible to update OTA to it? 3. Does HOS4 on your device implement any system for forcibly inserting advertising, which cannot be easily removed/blocked by the owner? 4. Do you expect your device should work normally as a phone in the EU? Thanks for shedding any light on this somewhat obscure subject!

@@foobarrel9046 my advice: Huawei was only a good phone brand till P40 series were out. But afterwards, because of sanctions they couldn’t keep pace with other brands. If you can find Oppo I recommend it. With all the trouble Huawei wouldn’t really worth considering it if you are living out of China.

Thanks for your video. I successfully install on mate x2 with harmony os 4.0 without the error message. However, the google map is not working properly. The first few times it can show the direction of the destination but it won't be able to tell the path suddenly after sometimes. It keeps finding best route and finally it will show "Something went wrong" try again. Other apps seem still work fine. Do you encounter the same issue? Is there any solution to fix.

I saw dozen methods for Harmony, Emui 10, Emui 14, but for Emui 12 there is no method for install native google..... Is that a such big problem, or there isnt developers who can do that. I forced to pay to convert Emui 12 to Harmony in order to install google. Its paradox, I must have Harmony which is not based on google android to install google, instead to activate google in Emui 12 which is based on google android 10.....

After a successful installation on my Huawei P40 Pro+, performed on November 2021 and following your KZbin video for HarmonyOS 2.0 (thank you very much again ;), the phone upgraded to a current version 4.0.0.128. Since this upgrade, the Google Chrome, then the KZbin and the Google Play store closed their door for me. I can use a different browser and access KZbin in those browsers, but one app that I paid for and use extensively as a security camera manager stopped also, unless I re-install it from the Play Store. For the past three days I've been following your version 4.0 installation video, but it fails every time. I can provide a screen recording with my failed attempt if somebody would consider providing some extra help. Thank you for consideration!
