The 2023 Hyundai Palisade, priced at at the mid-range SEL trim starts at $35,700, and the more premium Limited trim starts at $45,590. The range-topping Calligraphy model, which is what we drove, starts at $47,040.
It's an 8-passanger behemoth in an elegantly modern and intuitive interior that pays special attention to every single passenger. With SmartSenseTM safety innovations, the 2023 Palisade is looking to be the new age VW bus with the ideal family life in mind.
No need to sacrifice horsepower when you acquire this family friendly SUV. Its 3.8-liter V-6 engine sits under the hood and gives drivers access to 291 horsepower in an 8 speed automatic package. Towing? 5,000 lbs is how much it's reputed to be able to tow along when equipped with the dealer-installed trailer hitch.
The Palisade got it's equivalent of Botox, as it got a facelift for the 2023 model year, giving it a more squared-off appearance. It is doing its best to take a step ahead of Kia's Telluride, continuing the rivalty in the affordable big sexy SUV market.
