This is the new 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL. This Santa Fe comes in stormy blue on gray cloth interior. The powertrain consists of a 2.5 liter naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Oner item you missed was if you turn the car off and immediately hold the wiper control up it will bring your wipers up to the centre of the windshield, for us in the northern hemisphere is great for not getting your wipers stuck under the cowl due to ice and snow. Great video!

I'm driving this model/year now as a loaner. It is a beautiful car with a smooth ride at a good price. Great bells and whistles. The engine( i think i have the 191 hp) is disappointing tho. It's gets you around but not alot of "jump" if you know what i mean.

You forgot the extra rear cubby space in the bottom of the trunk just behind the rear passenger seats

there are more pockets under the floor in the rear. There’s another pull tab just beyond the pull tab for the jack compartment. Also there's a video testing and showing smart mode is more economical than eco mode.

my room mate has a 2023 and the 6inch glass thats between the windshield and sunroof shattered for NO reason, i looked it up and this is still happening even after a classs action lawsuit for previous models was settled. dealer said the exact same thing "not a warrenty issue take it to your insurance" I want to replace it for her but i cant find the part which is hard to get even from a dealer

Santafe uses 8 speed dual clutch transmission (8DCT)

Only the turbo equipped models in 2023 have a DCT. The non-Turbo models (like this one) are a standard old fashioned automatic. The redesigned 2024 is an all-Turbo all-DCT lineup, hence the reason I literally just bought a left-over 2023 SEL for nearly $10,000 off.

I have a 2022 3.5 v6 Santa fe with the 8 speed conventional auto gearbox. Love it. So glad it is not the dct gearbox ....

It's crazy that wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto is standard on ONLY the SE base trim...they delete it for all the trims above that. It's not even available as part of an add'l package for other trims. That is so backwards! I could go for the basic SE but I have to have adaptive cruise, as I'm used to that now.

I wonder if they were concerned that Apple/Android auto wireless features can interfere with the adaptive cruise. That's the only thing that makes sense.

Like the ease of driving the Tucson better, but I’d pick Santa Fe personally because it has more space. If you don’t need space or don’t like the idea of driving a bigger vehicle, definitely go with the Tucson.

I tested both and the Santa Fe is better in every single way. It's like comparing a VERY cheap econo-box (Tucson) to a refined luxury vehicle (Santa Fe). Santa Fe completely blows the Tucson away. I don't even know why the Tucson exists in comparison. (The salesman I worked with had the same perspective. Which is why he owned a Santa Fe.)
