2023 ILCOR Summary (ACLS):
2023 ILCOR Summary Statement on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
The International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) plays a crucial role in reviewing and disseminating the latest advancements in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid science. This annual summary summarizes the comprehensive consensus on science and treatment recommendations developed by ILCOR task forces, which include resuscitation in unique scenarios such as cardiac arrest from drowning and extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ECPR). Additionally, topics about the use of calcium during cardiac arrest, double sequential defibrillation, and neuro-prognostication, are also included. It will be too much stress for clinicians and nurses to let family member present at the scene of resuscitation,

Yes. In our practice, family members are asked to wait outside the resuscitation room, and will be allowed to enter the room only when discussion with the medical team is required.

Very stressful if family watching our resuscitation in action.
