Weird how ive watched for years. But after experiencing weightlifting house production and commentary i just dont want to go back to this. Im glad they posted something. But will be the first in years i havent watched religiously. To bad they just dont get weightlifting house to do them all 😮‍💨. Well hopefully next one will be. Iwf please make it happen for the growth of the sport. It needs to be more available and better quality

I don't know that anyone since lasha has won with such ease as aramnau in 2008, so that's a pretty big claim. He absolutely obliterated all 3 world records at the time and had a lot left in the tank.

Thank you for this but the commentator and music is just depressing. No replays either after each lift. Why don't you give the broadcasting to the Weightlifting House? This will be good for the sport

okay camera angles of competition sucks but i do love that they are consistently showing crowd reaction. we get to see how other elite lifters react.

I really feel disconnected when WH isn't covering these events. The commentary, the replays, and the sense of this sport being legitimized all feels lost as is. I mean, golf is boring as hell and they still manage to get commentary lol (no disrespect to golfers)

Li dayin is still number one in the ranking so ge doesn't have to lift and tian tao is recovering from surgery so he cant compete tho he has been bumped down from 3rd to 4th after this competition.

His wound is still not fully healed and formed. Apparently it's still open on the surface! After such an injury and surgery, a normal person recovers in no less than 2-3 years!

P.S: Even now, post injury and still not 100% - Carlos can do 235 kg relatively easily if he need a new world record! He is a new Olympic champion 2024. Remember this!

The judges seemed much more forgiving than what I saw in the recent World Championships. There were lots of press outs that would have gotten red lights.

I wish China would send lifters that will actually lift and compete, instead just ticking the boxes. Not a good look.

Most countries when they know their lifter is only going to weigh in have been indicating a minute total eg. 60 kg. Look at the start book. That way they’re clogging up the c group instead of the A class. Maybe Tian tried to warm up and realized it was a novo. CC Cummings looks like he did that for USA.

Its almost comical how bad this coverage is. No commentary other than an anime sounding "no lift" or "good lift", the elevator music between lifters and the ear-rape buzzer sound. Fantastic in the worst way

so annoying the bozo saying good lift and can hardly hear the event itself - if there is no one knows anything about the lifting , how bout not commenting next time instead of ruining the broadcast for the lifters and public
