Hopefully it’ll be more reliable than my 2021 grand Cherokee L it’s been in the dealer many times, but that was the first year of the new model. In fact, my L was only the third one that came into the dealership. Definitely some quality control issues but it’s still been a good vehicle. I do like it.

4 cylinder makes it fail. GM has never ever made a reliable 4 cylinder engine. They keep saying it’s improved for past 30 years. It’s only a temporary engine till they go electric.

Temporary or not, it’s replacing their naturally aspirated V6 so 4 cylinder has gone through its share of testing and the engine shall be bulletproof. That’s why their mid-size trucks also got a version of it and it’s the only option over there too. They’ve invested what they needed in this motor of its in everything.

Gross…and…unreliable garbage. I just watched a video a couple days ago of someone buying one of these brand new and within the first two weeks their airbag suspension blew out and they couldn’t drive it anywhere. They went to get it fixed and the same thing happened with the repair and it blew out again And that’s one of many things that apparently goes wrong with these.

I got one 2023 limited as a loaner it was a beast versus the rav4 2021 I had at that time! However, the built quality of that particular unit was not idea. Interior trim parts tilts and won't fit back in even if I tried to push it back...(Only 5000km on that limited GC!) and something underneath the steering wheel always makes metal-expanding-like noise after each ride, which is still weird even now for me, a Toyota now a Lexus owner.

I'm glad you saved money. Must say though, it's not the same. You pay the extra for the summit trim for a reason, I most recently had an 18 grand Cherokee summit, and from experience even the older models, daily driving it did something constantly almost daily to remind me that it's a luxury trim, unbelievably nice. A 23 is sweet or new model is sweet, don't me wrong, but it's a separate car the base model vs the summit I'm sorry

I’m a week in with this exact trim. I traded in my 18 overland. I got lucky with my vehicle, it’s a 2023 with 2200 miles. So I ended up paying just over 60 for it. It’s an 80k vehicle new. I’m elated.
