I'd be absolutely 💯 fuming mad if everyone was touching all my babies on my stall like that without washing their hands or using gloves whilst telling me they have no money to buy one anyway 🤬

The purpose of a show is to show off your work, and also of course make sales! You can put signs up that state “no touching please!” And that definitely helps. I used a “please ask before you touch” sign when I vended personally last year, and everyone was very respectful. I don’t mind people holding, even if they can’t afford to buy, as long as I am asked first.❤️
