Fun fun been a long time since I played with the fast bikes. But I do still like going fast in my Audi S4 Stage 2+ dual pulley. 450hp toy.

Awesome video! Love the unwieldy wheeliein ZH2. Looks to be quite the challenge to get that power down even for an experienced rider but guess that’s all part of the fun! 🤙

WOW, Mr. Gray is a beast! Even basically being stock. Can't hardly wait for the mods! That sporty is no slouch either! The last time I was following the sport, the typical Sportster drag bike was running 12's! lol Too bad about another drag strip being closed. Love your videos, they remind me of being out for grudge race nights at Fremont Drag strip back in the late 70's. It's now a dealership auto-mall... Good Luck!

Sad to see another Drag strip go down. We almost lost New England Dragway here in 603 last year. Thank God we didn't.

Yeah very sad indeed Wayne. Now the closest lower elevation track is about 7 hours away. Cheers D

Good baseline runs, it's going to very interesting how much you can reduce the times....I'm guessing they'll drop a lot !👍

Don't want speak to soon Nick, but I have a plan that should make Mr. Grey the flying brick run like it should. 10" to 12" longer, much lower, 220 beans, with throttle response that matches my right wrist, header and gearing updates. Zoom Zoom Cheers DW

Very interesting to see a real pro verifying my few acceleration "tests in Mexico" on a stock wheelbase/not lowered Z H2. It is neither easy to launch, the power i not usable i the first 2 gears, and the TC is pretty useless also. The laws of physics works against this fun bike. Still I love my Z H2, so my M1000R was sold yesterday and my "overpowered" Z H2 is a keeper. ❤ Keep'em coming Dave! 👍🤗

It usually takes me about 4 passes to know what a new bike needs, and how to be ridden TL. To bad I didn't have 4 or 5 more runs. Was pretty consistent for that terrible stock Fly by wire. TC 1 still helped a ton compared to it being off. It will be fun to play with next year for sure. Cheers DW

Hey, I have the same bike, and bought it to take it to the drag strip. The 2 strips I go to are 1/8th mile (surely not a strong-point for a bike that likes to wheelie). I'm thinking the brock's bolt on swing-arm extensions and an ECU re-flash is probably the best money to invest in the quest for lowest ets and of course practice / seat time? Anyways it's cool to see someone with the same bike as me with similar goals, the best of luck to you, and stay safe sir!

Hi there 54. I bought a like new used swing arm and plan to make my own extensions for my bike about 8 to 10" longer, and they will be weld up. Then run it a few times before re flash. Cant beat Brocks for a simple bolt on. Cheers Dale

awesome watchin ya prepare for battle, when you rock a 1030, then the slippery night track and your like "cant see? who cares!" :D wonderin what ya think about that variable intake system on the new 10rr, is it modifiable? or is this race kit the only way
@DaleWalkerHoleshot Жыл бұрын
Hi Jean, yeah did the best I could with only 4 runs. We normal can get 7 to 10 passes with a street bike on a real test and tune day. Never touched a 10rr, but they make different length stacks. Some may hurt the mid range a tiny but but makes then run up top. Cheers Dale

@@DaleWalkerHoleshot no this new system in the "fac race kit" uses a diff ecu and a subcontroller, they are *variable* they change based on the throttle! a mechanical adjustment while u ride, im super interested, i fig only a matter of time till its an "airbox mod" so to speak

Just curious what you think an average rider on a bone stock Z900RS SE could run in the quarter mile at say 3000 feet?
@DaleWalkerHoleshot Жыл бұрын
Most likely mid 11s, and with some practice 11.30s or so.
