2023 Land Rover Defender X130 Custom JL Audio Subwoofer

Multiple audio shops have told me they are unable to add subs or change defender speakers because the new product would play at half the volume due to Meridians amp/cpu/flux capacitor stuff over my head. This video doesnt mention any issues working with the Meridian system. In your experience, are there any issues with switching out/upgrading speakers and subs in the new Defenders? Daddy needs some bang in the ride pronto! Thank you

Great stuff folks. Where are you getting the audio signal from for the new amp/sub? Are you just tapping into one of the speakers? Any help is greatly appreciated. 🙏🏻 no shops here in Toronto have done a defender before. Thanks in advance.

We only installed a subwoofer amplifier. The signal was off the lower front door speakers and worked perfect.

@@TheSoundconcept perfect. This is what I was looking for. A shop told me that it might brick my car if we splice any of the speaker wires. Glad to know that it can be done. You’re a saviour.
