It's really nice to see you talk about your language learning process again Madison! :) It sounds like you are really passionate and eager to learn so many new languages haha. Do you have any priorities on what you would like to do with your languages in the future, or are you just learning them beacuse you want to know more languages? I can totally relate to you on the "not having enough time to do anything while you're in college" haha. That's why i decided to study russian at University, beacuse otherwise i would feel to exhausted and not have enough time for it myself. I also keep going back and forth, like i can have periods of intense language studying and make so many "gains" just like yourself, then to just drop it and not study it for months on end haha.... Good thing muscle memory for language learning is a real thing ^^ I truley love russian and i would say i am at an intermedieate B1 level of the language atm. Although i havent had time to study it since i was working full time and now studying other courses :( However, i try to watch videos in russian on youtube and some interesting series... I found that the trick is to try and integrate the language you are studying as much as possible into your daily life, just like we do with our native language. It's such a cool experience once you start thinking or even dreaming in your target language. I have to say that i truley admire you studying so many languages all at once! I can definitely not do that beacuse it would feel too overwhelming for me xD I also feel you on that "i just want to be able to learn the language faster"... I feel this way too about russian. Then i felt, wait a minute... I never thought that i needed to learn english as fast as possible.... Even now having used english almost everyday for more than 10 years, my grammar still sucks, but it's definitely gotten alot better over the years xD Which i think means that language learning is always a process, since we can always fine tune it or learn more things in our languages... even our native one. Since i love russian so much i dont mind it if it will take me another 3 or 5 or even 10 years to become as good in russian as in english. The process also has to be enjoyable and in a comfortable pace for us to keep going... For myself one of the biggest hurdles to get over, is that it is okay to make mistakes and for me to develope i have to make mistakes. Its better to speak and make alot of mistakes than to not speak at all and put the language on the shelf. I'm so proud of you Madison and im sorry btw that i didn't reach out to you about helping you with your swedish xD I had totally forgotten since i had so many things to do myself, but my offer still stands whenever you have time and are up for it i would love to help you in any way that i can :)

Omg Lukas thank you for such an integrated reply!!! I'll do my best to answer everything! 1) I'd love to travel with my language knowledge! It's partly why I want to learn so many. I know they can be useful and make an application look pretty, but the diversity of them is for travel purposes! I'd love to go to Sweden one day, and I want to learn Italian to travel to italy 2) Russian, ahh, russian... I haven't fully studied it since January because of school😪 I want to study more of it next quarter but I guess we'll see how I feel because I am really loving Swedish (yay!) And asl right now. 3) I appreciate the you admiring me but don't do so too much because I'm struggling with them haha. The want to study so many is based on wanting to speak and read in all of them. I love speaking in Swedish and signing so I always have to keep in mind that making mistakes is okay. Mainly sentence structure because GARRRR!!! Its okay about the reaching out, I'd still love to talk to you in my broken Swedish whenever you have time ❤just tell me where to message haha

@@bookswmadi Oh, i am so glad you appreciated my message Madison 🙂 You should definitely go to Sweden someday, i think you would love it 😊 You might find people in Sweden to be very withdrawn and introverted but i can guarantee you that we are super friendly and its very clean and we have nice nature too 🤣 If you ever come to Sweden, be sure to let me know, and i would like to show you around 😊 Oh, Italy... I would also love to go there eversince i played Assassin's Creed 2. Seems like such a beautiful country, so i can understand you on thats as well haha. I am admiring your appreciation and inspiration for other languages, especially Swedish, which is my native language and such a small language that not too many people outside of maybe Finland (And Sweden of course haha) would study, its certainly something to be in awe of 😊 I dont want to tell people what to do beacuse i hate to ruin someones enthusiasm for something, as to me that is the most important part to anything in life, and not all people have the goal to be completely fluent in all of the languages that they speak... But, it may help you to pick a language that you really love and want to become lets say conversationally fluent at and dedicate your time specifically only to that language for awhile. Once you have a strong base in that language you are not likely to ever forget it and if you do it will be minor things that will be easy to pick up once you try to study it again, Then you can go on to study the next language by itself or your first language and the new one at the same time... (Although this is just my advice and my way of learning and we are all different im not saying you should do it, you should definitely go with what feels right for you. i just felt like maybe it would have been easier for you to only focus one language for awhile and then go on to the next 😊) Although if you would like to better your Russian as well, i feel like i can help a little bit with that as well, atleast some of the basic, although my russian is very intermediate 😂 You can message me either on e-mail: lukas.fridell@hotmail.com or on Facebook "Lukas Fridell" 🙂

@@MigthyDucksz24 Yeah, i'm unsure what I am going to do in the next quarter when it comes to language learning, but for now i'm focusing on two languages only! I also emailed you!
