The Rockefeller University awards its 2023 Lewis Thomas Prize for Writing About Science to forest ecologist and author Dr. Suzanne Simard. The Prize, given annually by The Rockefeller University, recognizes Dr. Simard for her research which spurred the field of mycorrhizal networks and her best selling book, "Finding the Mother Tree: Discovering the Wisdom of the Forest."
