That Roatx is the biggest POS ever built. Every engineer that spoke up about it being an extremely bad design got fired from BRP. Terrible holeshot and a horrible top end speed compared to a normal outboard. Any person that buys this setup is guaranteed to have engine failure ar some point.

To be fair engine failure is pretty much guarantee on any modern marine engine... they dont' make em like they used to. The question is how long... at least a semi submerged engine cant' run dry like a normal outboard so no pisser needed, just a temp gauge and probably automatic shutoff if the impeller fails.

Where they really failed is nuking thier existing brand, and line of engines to create this abomination. If it turned out it was acutally good it should have been able to replace the existing engine brand without ending it and the customer's trust first.
