When my baby, my son, got his license, I let him drive to school by himself. He had saved and bought his car. I was driving to work and he passed me, I cried the rest of the way to work, my baby didn’t need me anymore. All we can do is teach them to be good people and to follow the rules, and to respect others and hope that they listened and do as taught. He recently got married to his high school sweetheart, and is a lawyer for the federal government, so I guess I did ok. Unfortunately he lives 4 hours away.

Jessi this video was sooooo good! Wow I love it! You could find some larger bins to put your linens in. I even have mine in thirty one bins. Each kid has a bin that their linens are in. Super helpful in the middle of night when I need to change bedding.

What a beautiful story, thank u for sharing…my boys are young only 4 and 6 years old. I cried when they started school. I can’t imagine when they move out. But teaching them to be good man, good husbands and good parents. To be respectful, kind, lovable and believe in their own potential. Hi great video, love your daughter new look, her room looks so young lady great job. I think a lot of us are cutting aback this year on the things we use to decorateare homes. I like storms myself it does depend on what time of the day it's coming in though, The ones that hit in the middle of the night make me jumpy but during the day they're so calm and relaxing and give you a reason for not doing things outside. Happy 2023!! It is always a good idea to have the family help take down Christmas decorations. My son gave me a two-tiered tray but I just have the hardest time figuring out how to decorate it. Right now it's sitting on the buffet cabinet completely empty. Lol. I remember the day my son got his permit. I let him drive to the next town. In that short 8 miles drive, he ran a stop sign and murdered a squirrel. Lol. We had to have a little talk about him paying more attention to his surroundings. Lol. As far as tantrums, who is the worst, boy or girl? Hope you and your family have a wonderful new year!!

One thing I have learned is Kids get overwhelmed , stressed, scared a lot at this age .Everything is new to them .Go to store when it's least busy,, Take a small baggy of toys just for outings, headphones an a tablet, just reassure them itheir ok, safe make a game of it. Let them know what things are.. it get easier mom 😆

I got the vacuum seal bags off Amazon and put all my extra linen, travel bags,etc and with them all vacuumed sealed was able to store in my suitcase and containers. Saves a lot of space🙂

Happy New Year! The carpet is gorgeous! Last year I started in January and I started declutting and said I was going to take things at least once a month to donate. That was my New Years resolution last year and I did it!!! Sometimes it would be a couple times a month and I loved it. Just a suggestion because that’s what helped me. I’m still trying to declutter more this year. Congratulations to Mady on getting her permit!! Those test are hard! When my son was learning to drive years ago we took him to a local cemetery because there are so many turns left, right, straight aways. Plus it helped my nerves! Lol I know every time I go over there to put flowers out I see people teaching their kids to drive. Thought it was interesting. But definitely gets them the experience that they need. BTW- what type carpet did you get? I’m needing to replace my den carpet. Love the bloopers! Mady is so funny 😂 wanting to save everything!

New carpet looks great! Closet suggestion, I do not know how often you are using the luggage but I would put in the basement instead of taking up space.
