2023 Messerschmitt Bf 109 Seattle Museum of Flight

A visit to the Seattle Museum of Flight and a look at the very clean Messerschmitt Bf 109. It is mounted up in the air to provide more room near the entrance of the WW2 pavilion. An interesting way to look at an airplane as one can get quite close to most of it. This airplane was put together in the 1970's mostly from a 109 that was built after the war in Spain. Several counties built this plane for their air forces after the war. This paint job depicts a fighter on the eastern front in Soviet Russia.
