Great review! My local store is letting me buy either this 2023 michters 10 yr bourbon or the blantons SFTB (which I believe you also recently reviewed) - any thoughts / feedback on what I should get or which bottle you liked more?

2023 is incredible. To touch on your note at roughly 5:20, M10 is a single barrel bourbon, so there isn’t a blend of 11 or 17 aged bourbons for example. It’s likely 15-17 though There are multiple single barrel dumps for 2023, hence the barrel No. on the neck label but they are indeed single barrel. I lucked out getting 2 and the retailer charged me the 2021 price of $105ish. Cheers

I heard this was a great release. Great review! Not meaning to pick, but if this is truly a single barrel, the oldest whiskey in the bottle is the age of the whiskey in that single barrel.

This year’s Micther’s 10yr is 🔥 Nose, palate and viscosity is as close to the Micther’s 20 yr as its ever been.
