What's helpful about your reviews for me is where you're located. Been researching the Outlander and so many reviews complain about the lack of power, but I live in a flat terrain area near sea level and it has mild winters (no snow, rarely frost). See how it performs in a similar environment tells me that it would be just fine for my style of driving.

@@donivansmith2627 absolutely! I went to Mitsubishi themselves. I have nooo problem sharing some basic info based on me and my profile. My CS right now is a 640 (rebuilding) so. Mit allowed me to put 2k down and my payments are $350 bi weekly. Roughly 700 a month ! I will re finance is 6 months to bring it lower.

I had a 2019 outlander sel and I just traded it yesterday for a 2023 sel black edition. With the upgraded technology it’s definitely worth it, smoother ride, less noise and the tarmac mode gives you a faster drive

This has more practicality but the sportage has newer tech.. I’d recommend test driving both but I’d probably recommend the outlander if you have to carry several people or a lot of belongings, and I’d recommend the sportage if you like slightly sportier driving dynamics and a more modern interior 👍🏼

Does anyone know if you can actually get the dealer to install the black edition rims or mitsubishi black rims in general to a regular outlander sel trim model? I like the sel trim model better since it has that nice multi color interior trim, but don't like the aluminum rims on the regular sel trim model.

baad pieces of krapatoly...my father changed 2 of them the after only 12000 km due to pomp pressure for the first one and fuel injection and transmition probs with the second one!,,never again mitsubishi although we miss so much our old pajero!...we got a lancruiser and after over 100.000 km runs like new!..

It's a Mitsubishi. In 5 years, maybe 5% of these will still be on the road. Honestly, these things are priced accordingly.

Perhaps, with the CVT. I have 214,000 miles on a 2016 Lancer, with a 5-speed manual. Original clutch, too. Aside from diligent maintenance, the only things I've replaced is the blower (AC/heat) motor and serpentine belt. I've proactively replaced the rotors also.

@M Mitsubishi is a massive corporation (over $45 billion) that's been selling cars in the US for 40+ years. I doubt they're ever top-5 brand here, but they're not going under anytime soon. These cars may or may not be junk, I don't know. But, this isn't a fly-by-night company on the verge of bankruptcy.

@M $50 B is about the top 20% of publicly traded companies in the S&P 500. So, maybe you don't use the word "massive," but it's not insignificant. I also rarely see them on the road, but that's different than what you said earlier about them literally going bankrupt. I see Mitsubishi less like Saab and more like Volvo, where the latter is small regarding automobiles sales, but well diversified into other areas. I, too, am an educated consumer ... but it doesn't mean we have to agree on the future of the Mitsubishi corporation. Perhaps Mitsu goes the way of the French cars in the 1980s (Renault, Peugeot), but I doubt it.
