Nice work on the deck! Looks very solid! The house must be on solid ground or they wouldn't have set it up that way. Up here in the North houses are on either a basement, concrete block crawl space or concrete piers. Dirt up here will move with the frost. If the house settles over time downward, you might have to relevel the house. Been on a set up crew years ago.

Yes sir in Texas here we use red clay and it works. Almost every trailer house it set this way! Common practice here! Thanks for the input!

Thanks for the video. We are starting our process. How long did your pad sit or have to sit before they were able to bring and how is the anchoring under there to the foundation. I was trying to look while you were under there 😂

I hope your going to cover most of that deck. Did the skirting guys put a doorway entrance to under your house?? Are you going to have this building strapped down to concrete peers.???

Great questions! The house is anchored down to the foundation yes. The skirting guys did not put a entry door in but it is easy to get entry. And I have more than half of the deck covered with a metal roof! Thanks!

having built several hundred deck you should learn about span charts, you have done way more work than is neccassary plus you used more material than is needed

I enjoyed the video, I 2 like watching the deliveries and setup of Mobile and Modular Homes but more importantly is seeing a young man flaunt his beard, I grew mine back out since I had my stoke in 2020. You can't tell a woman not to shave so don't tell me to shave.

How many miles did you have to move your mobile home? How much did it cost for delivery and set up? Did you have to pay two separate companies or was it all one?

About 20 miles! And I set up the pad. The delivery and set up were included on the price because it was a new home! Great question!

All that open space and grass, why leave the mobile home on mud?

The home has to be placed on a red clay pad so it won’t settle. They will not just set up a home on grass. This is the rules in Texas
