Memphis ain't big enough to bring Purdue down unless Purdue has one of their bad games. But they're one a run lately, so I'll disagree and put Purdue ahead of Memphis. Purdue outsizes them and will out rebound the hell out of 'em. Their biggest players are only 6'10", so good luck to them. Purdue eats up smallish teams, even athletic ones.

This year the seedings have been the worse I have seen in a long time. Duke should be much higher than a 5 seed. Saint Mary's should not be a 5 seed but lower, Michigan State should be much lower.

Yep a lot of people will overreact to the Houston/Memphis and/or Texas/Kansas game; you can reasonably assume having less than a day to change their game plan after Sasser's injury before playing Memphis hurt Houston and Kansas had no Bill Self. Now that Houston will have enough time to figure out his status and game plan for what to do if he can't play, Houston should be favored to beat Texas if they meet.

The game in Austin was when KU already won the league outright, so they weren't playing for much. The Big 12 Championship game KU played without an important starter and without their head coach. The general feeling was that they already had the overall #1 seed wrapped up too. You better believe the team would turn out different with so much on the line. Self is the best coach in the country when it comes to in game adjustments as well.
