For those unfamiliar with the Jaguars play at 1:24 - it's not enough to simply get out of bounds in order to stop the clock. The ball carrier has to be making forward progress in order for the clock to stop

His argument was that normally refs give a warning before throwing a flag, and that Toney wasn't so far offsides that it warranted a flag before the warning.

@@NeRvRain I'm not saying he was right or wrong. I'm just saying there was more to his beef than just "I didn't think he was that far off sides". Probably has a lot to do with the offsides call against Dee Ford back in 2019 as well that kept them out of the Super Bowl. Same deal, and it was the same argument after that game. Refs normally warn a coach before calling offsides, but they didn't. Again, not saying he was right or wrong, only his statement should be more accurately represented.

Also, Toney lined up offsides exactly like that 3 times before that during the same game and they never called it, never even warned him or Andy, then called it at that moment. Thats messed up, and honestly a bit fishy. Haters just wanna cling to any "Eff the Chiefs" narrative they can spin, though. Is what it is.
