I would always do anything I could to make the engine easier to start. Why not use an engine block heater, a dip-stick heater or even a car port if you don’t have a garage. It will make the engine last longer. The most wear your engine can get is when you start it from cold.

When I had a 69 Impala that I'd barely drive 9-10 times a Summer, fuel stabilizer always did the trick. Before putting it away for the winter, I'd run it down to almost empty, fill it up with a fresh tank and stabilize.

Z is in the sweet spot between miata/86/brz and the 6cyl supra. As long as you're not looking for a track car the Z is a strong option for gt shoppers

Speaking of annoying sounds, you all need to sit back a bit from the microphones to avoid an annoying distortion. Those mikes were originally designed for TV boom use and were not meant for close talking.

One of the great things about this channel is the variety of hosts. Each one of you brings something special, even though I have my favorites. On this video I felt like this brand new car was being compared to the last previous version of itself, which today is actually quite dated. I would have enjoyed a broader base of comparison, both luxury and less powerful sporty cars.

Glad to see the review, but to be completely honest, I doubt that anyone looking at reviews of a manual-transmission 2-seater are looking for the opinion of someone who is clearly not into sports cars. In any case, thanks for clarifying that the incredibly annoying and intrusive auto-brake nonsense has been forced onto this car, which removes it from my list under consideration.

I’m 45 and learned late in life to drive a manual. I find the movement for heel and toe awkward in my “old age” for everyday driving and also if you are “daily driving” your manual your footwear may not be optimal.

Jenn nailed it! Enthusiast reviews all agree with her. Gearbox is a missed opportunity that doesn’t compete with a Civic. Steering is now completely numb, and the chasis is old before it comes out. An engine alone doesn’t make it a sports car, this is a GT with sports car functionality.

Looking forward to this. Have been wanting to hear thoughts from people who aren't focused almost entirely on track performance. I think the car looks fantastic, and I'm seeking something for everyday driving and day trips, but also makes me smile when I drive it. I think that the Sport trim would fit me well.

Except everyone on the panel agreed very noise and rough ride. The two who did like it, liked it for its on-track performance (and looks). I just don't know that this is the sporty grand touring daily driver that folks are looking for?
