Great recap of the watch. I remember telling you some time back I was getting rid of this watch to fund my polar Explorer II. I did and I love the polar. However, the black SMP will always hold a special place in my heart, I may definitely own another some day. Also, the green bezel sub is next on my list to complete my Land, Air and Sea Rolex trio. I'll be going back to check out your Sub videos when it gets closer to my allocation. Enjoy the SMP, this was an awesome video!

Love your videos! Was planning on the white dial SMP and even tried on at the AD, but the black looks stunning. Did you get bored of the white/did novelty or white wear off? Would love to hear your thought process in changing colors! Keep up the great vids Doug!

I have this watch with the white dial for just over 4 months now and absolutely love it but the more i look at the black dial i question myself if i made the right choice🤔 To be honest the smp300 looks stunning in all colors and i can't justify having the same watch twice lol.

This is my THIRD (new) SMP. First, I had the white dial on black rubber. Then the blue on bracelet. And now this black one. They ALL are AWESOME! I actually just purchased the Omega mesh bracelet and will post a video of it soon in case you are interested. Enjoy the heck out of your white SMP!

Great review thanks. I’ve been through 5 of these as a serial flipper :) first was black on bracelet, then chrome on rubber (blued hands look amazing), then blue on rubber, followed by black which I sold, rebought and sold again. So now I just have 2 planet ocean, but I keep coming back to the black dial SMP. It really is a stunning watch!

I have the SMP 300 in black and its stunning. It came with the rubber strap. I just got an aftermarket mesh bracelet to see how it feels and looks (amazon). It is very comfortable but is very flashy. Too much for my grey man lifestyle, lol. Good video!

In my opinion, black is the best color for a daily. However, the green is a very dark green and can look black. If love to know which you ultimately chose! 😁
