I love seeing leftys make lead card. I am a lefty myself so it's a little extra fun for me to see others out there representing 🤘 lol. Great coverage and commentarty, HONK!! Edit: On a side note, seeing a lefty throw or trying to see what "lefty lines" they "find" is no different than seeing a righty throwing a forehand. A forehand shot from a right handed player is no different than a lefty throwing a backhand shot. Yes, we don't all have elite level sidearms for the majority of the holes that are designed for a clockwise spin of a righty backhand which makes things a lot harder for leftys to play, which is why you don't see them at the top too often. However, we are not that "strange" to see on the course and throwing. If you have a forehand dominant or power forehand player (Chandler Kramer, Aaron Gossage, Luke Samson, etc) then you are seeing exactly what a lefty backhand dominant player will throw. Sorry if this seems heated or anything, that's not my intention, I just feel like I needed to point that out. As James Conrad said recently in an MVP commercial "There's more than one way to spin a disc, find your line". End ramblings lol.

@@pcarp100 I know there's nothing wrong with being left handed, I am a natural lefy myself. No, I am not heated about it, as I stated in the comment. I have a friend that is right handed and throws forehand more than anything and we throw the exact same lines at any course we go to (when it comes to conventional lines anyway lol). It is the same spin direction (counter clockwise) and fades to the right. As a natural lefty, backhand dominant player who has played idk how many rounds with right handed players, forehand and backhand dominant alike, and over 40 tournament rounds myself (I am still just an amateur afterall) I can say that the lines are essentially the exact same. From flex lines, hyzer flips to turn overs, pure hyzers, flat to hyzer out, etc. We can all throw them on the exact same lines as a right handed forehand player. The vast majority of the courses I play are designed for right hand backhand dominant spin direction and natural fade (I understand why, because the vast majority of people are right handed, which is fine.) so, on those courses and holes, yes I have to get creative at times. However, when I see someone step up to one of those holes and throw a successful forehand shot, I try to match them and have just as much success when I execute the line. Idk if you're left handed or not, but if you're not then please don't tell me (a lifetime lefty) that I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to left handed shots.

Having both doesn’t make life easier for lefties. Every FPO contender not named Ohn has 400+ feet of backhand power with a few players pushing 500+ feet of power. There’s not a single player in FPO with 400 feet of forehand power. Courses are typically designed accordingly.

You’re leaving out the civil rights side where federally recognized nonprofit membership orgs like the PDGA shouldn’t get to make members prove their gender, a federally protected class of citizenship, solely to discriminate against them. It has nothing to do with competition when you’re getting federal tax breaks. So some citizens who want to be disc golfers have to pay the PDGA only to be denied a core aspect of their personhood in order to play in PDGA sanctioned events. Get the PDGA out of the nonprofit business.
