This has to be the first tournament of the year that James Proctor isn’t in the top 5 after round 1. Before I checked UDisc, I was questioning whether or not he was even playing in this tournament. The guy has been playing insanely well in every first round of each tour stop so far this year. Anyway, good luck to all the players. I can see Paul turning this around in a _major_ way by matching round 1’s hot round in round 2 or even potentially besting it by a stroke or two. Thanks, JoMez! Let’s go!!

Love the coverage! As always, Jomez is the best in the business. However, I want to join my voice to others advocating for a return to the old style of score tracking. I understand the intent is to replicate live coverage and give the viewers the same information that the players had at the time, but this is not live coverage, and I think that reasoning is misguided. There are other options for live coverage out there, and I think by trying to treat post-production as live coverage you lose the advantages of both.

especially in round 1, I love seeing how the card actually compared to the other cards. Like, at gatekeeper they have the old jomez scoring style, and you can see eagle tied for first with 6 under through 9. You can see Simon tied at fourth. So immidiately you know how well the card is playing

Apparently Jomez feels they've outgrown the need to listen to their fans, subscribers or even Patreon's. Thousands have asked nicely and frequently over the 2023 season for them to please give us back one of the things that made them the leader in disc golf coverage - the scores for the card across the bottom of the screen. It's really frustrating for them to simply ignore the many, many requests for the return of that feature.

Saying Isaac gets lucky isn’t accurate. The right error with a RHBH is more likely to kick left, unless you miss way right. A slight right miss is playing the odds, much like a RHFH good miss is slightly missing left and getting that kick right. Some of the kicks look fortunate, but that is because he is eliminating the bad miss. I see him repeating this for four rounds if he sticks with his plan and the putter doesn’t go cold.
