the preds are such a special team it's impossible to not like them. They're dynamic is some of the best in the sport, and the fact that in one game they could not score a single point and lose by a lot, and in the next they could win by 10 points. It makes every preds game a special experience that i love.

My attempt at calculating batting fWAR for some MLW players so far this season: There are multiple things to note about this, most fielding parts of WAR are completely ignored in this because MLW doesn't track things like UZR (understandably). I've also only done 10 so far and will continue to do more when I have the time. Because of this, some numbers are affected because they rely on league averages but they're pretty close. And one last thing, these numbers have all been scaled up to account for the MLW season being 15 games long instead of 162. Scoring note. I believe Kracht should be credited with a Save in Game 2, as the game-tying run was at the plate. He gives up a GS to Robles there, and Kracht becomes the pitcher of record. A minor detail, since the Save is so rare in MLW, but still interesting for those career stats.

With the small field this has to be the MLW’s equivalent of Coors field. It was very similar to watching a game at Cultz field the ball just flies out of the stadium. Was really fun to watch. Game one showcases how dangerous the mallards can be. With Robles dealing on the mound and him and Tommy both going yard (four times in a series in insane) we can see how electric this team can be when at their best. Great job Kyle and the rest of MLW this season is already historic and I’m looking forward to what MLW brings us for not just the rest of the season but for the future as well.
