2023 Quilts - Wandering Way Quilt Top

2023 is officially the year of the 3-Yard Quilt!
Each week, a new video will be posted for a quilt made from the 3-Yard book series by Fabric Cafe. Three one yard cuts turn in to one lap sized quilt top. Easy enough, right?
The goal for these quilts is to use as much of my stash as possible in order to clear space for new fabrics, notions and more! In the end, the quilts will be donated to local charities and individuals in need of a new quilt to call their own.

Love the way this turned out might try to do it with baby yoga fabric for grandson also I am old but my days in marching band, pep band, concert band are still times I think about a lot definitely the most fun in school outings

Love this! I will soon be starting a 3 yard quilt for my grandbaby. This will be the first 3 yard quilt attempted. After seeing this video it may be sooner than I had originally thought though.

It turned out great! I made this pattern a few months ago and turned one set of blocks wrong! Didn't notice until they were all sewn together and didn't want to unpick all of that. 😂 The quilt is still pretty. In fact I just put the binding on yesterday and it's in the washer now. That's super cute - I have a different music print - but I kind of like how the blue has elements of the whole note shape or whatever - I may borrow this for inspiration for my music fabric I haven't been sure what to do with :)

What is your total time from cut to finish o the quilt top, not including the quilting?

For something like this one, I could probably do the top in a day. It's once HSTs get added in that things tend to take a little longer.
