Man I'd love to see how y'all did the side rod locker! Biggest pain in my RT188 right now is the tiny amount of rod storage it has, that's an awesome way of doing it!

I am interested in what you guys did to the left rod box. Any chance you have a video waiting to be put up?

Did you network your Lowrance and Garmin? I would like to see how you ran the wires. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

Hey I’d like to know about the exact GoPro mount you have and exactly how it’s mounted. Thanks. 👍🏻

Absolutely I gotta know how you ran those wires. I have the same boat(even colors) and need to add a 4th battery and a second graph up front and need the right power supply. They ran 6 gauge up to the front for my active target but I don’t see anything to add a second graph. Thanks guys! Awesome video!
@HammerDog600 Жыл бұрын
Remove the cover for the motor wires and you can run it to the console area, then make a second run to the front, you can do it with a fish tape. Just done mine today. Mine is a 2017 model though.

what bolts do you guys use to fasten the bow plate to the fiberglass? im gonna purchase one soon for the spring
@cliffordgurley4882 Жыл бұрын
I need to run a network cable from the bow to the console for my Garmin’s. I would like to see how you ran your cabling I have a 2022 198P and really like it. I like what you did with you rod boxes. Just my opinion there’s not enough storage from the factory as bought. Your right about the rod strap it’s junk I like your fix. Do you know anything about the paint I have some dings I would like to touch up and it’s white so everything shows I’m looking for touch paint. Thanks your update video it was great keep them coming.

Can you shoot me a pm and let me know how you like this boat overall? I mean the hull, dry ride, etc. The .100 aluminum has held me back from getting one so far. I fish Kerr, Falls and Jordan lakes mostly.

I opened up my port side locker by removing the passenger console plate and cutting the deck and attached the plate to the existing door and it is now a full size rod box and no obstructions.

What length rod can you fit in the rod locker without the tubes?
@douglasmoore29532 жыл бұрын
I like the center box organizer. Did you remove any of the foam in rod box or was most of it out of the way? My 2019 had a lot of foam in there after i removed the tubes, i have gotten a lot of it out or cut back but i cant get to the foam in the front just wondering if you had any ideas how to get some of the foam out of front?
@Masquerade10102 жыл бұрын
Removing the plate up front for the bow graph unit can sometimes give you access to the foam.

Why did you setup a separate switch for the graphs?
@OneObjective Жыл бұрын
Because we wanted all of our units on its own power supply. That way if any accessories are cut on it won’t have a chance of interference. And it can be on its own power supply. So it goes straight from battery to our switch and to our graphs. Not another something else that’s connected to everything else.
@BassDudeFishn Жыл бұрын
@@OneObjective Thank you. That makes sense. Congrats on the boat.
@Fishboy6810 ай бұрын
Another good thing the switch keeps the graphs from drawing power when the are not being used.Even though the unit is off iy still draws power.The switch eliminates that .
