This is my first bike. I've had the blinding issue with the sun coming home from work in the summer. It is what it is, its a dumb issue, but I usually just move my head to block lol its only for a few minutes depending on the position of the sun. The no fuel indicator is annoying. I've run it 35 KMS after the light came on and while I was sweatin it was fine, I'm guessing it'd get about 50kms if you're not riding hard once the light comes on. I wish it had a 6th gear for the highway. Like you said its fine for most highway speeds, but I find myself questioning AM I in 5th?.....it just seems like there should be one more cruising gear. Overall, couldnt be happier with a first bike, its fun, its a clean look, healthy amount of low end torque so I look forward to red lights.

I would like chrome spokes on it and chrome motor and chrome pipes and chrome bolt on the side of the gas tank.....black and chrome........send me one Yamaha. I had a V-Star 1100....and a 1200 Sportster....I liked the V-Star better.....it was better balanced.
