i'm using both rebel & interceptor 650. both have their own character. but in term of saving, prefer rebel. as for my interceptor it been in and out to service centre about 3 month during my first year used. start with wrong size of piston ring, plug coil & relay. the worst case is it lost power when you speeding in fast lane, maybe it's my bad luck for receiving defect unit. anyway it your own choice, both are the best economic bike. if you can't choose then take both & experience it yourself.

Still, meteor 650 is better than rebel. I have never heared a nice sound in an after market of a rebel 500 exhaust. But the super meteor 650's stock exhaust is already ear pleasing. How much more with the after market.... they sounds perfect like music in the air ....i like it! RE SUPER METEOR 650!!!!❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍

Excellent comparison, without haven't driven either, it is difficult to tell which is better. Looking forward to testing both. Thank you for sharing. What I look for in a bike is seating position, in the bike instead of on the bike like a jockey. Also forward controls not wanna be like the RE Meteor 350.

I have been an owner of the Rebel 500 for a couple of years now. While this bike looks amazing, it is without doubt the most uncomfortable bike I have ever owned on mid to longer journeys because of the harsh rear suspension and the utterly unforgiving seat.

I live in Thailand. Honda have 72% of the motorbike market. The Royal Enfield is a lot more expensive due to import taxes than the Honda that is manufactured in Thailand. Seat is lower on the Honda Rebel that suits shorter riders that being the reason that 30% of Honda Rebels in the USA are bought by girls.

Actually none. Though rebel is more uncomfortable to ride, super meteor on othe other hand us described as comfortable but slight improvement in shock is needed

You can do a spec comparison and learn nothing. The Rebel is another fall-asleep boring Honda, the Enfield the opposite. I have a 350 Meteor and it is such fun, I rode the Rebel 300 and it was instantly forgettable with zero character. Torque curve is one key and that long stroke means int's unstallable and yes the Honda is for short guys and girls, no good for a 6 footer like me.
