Since I have returned from Split my sleeping regime has become kind o weired. For instance last night I was sleeping from 7 p.m. up to 4 a.m. so I managed to watch your newest edited video just with a slight delay. It is obvious that Tokyo is not as crowded with tourists as it was in previous months. On the other hand Split is packed with visitors in spite the circumstance that the new school year shall start within two weeks. It is incredibly hot both at the coast and here in Zagreb - up to 37°C -. Although I am avoiding heat as much as I can I did not want to miss Sumino-san's 1st concert in Croatia. Gladly I survived such a hot weather thanks to the fact that I am still under spell of his stunning recital. I can understand your excitement about the next Mt. Fuji adventure. Just take care - no rush is needed. Fingers cross that everything turns well. Anyhow, avoid eating of spicy curry before the climbing up there. There is no wonder that after your apartment has been closed for a month old smell problems reoccur due to lack of fresh air. Now that you are back this will be solved much easier than before. Thanks for keeping us informed as related to the current traveler situation in Tokyo so that it is easy to be compared with the similar situation in other parts of the world. Stay safe and healthy GAAOO!!!

Hi Rion super excited about this video that you posted today on my birthday. I am totally upset that I could not be in Japan on my birthday. I totally went to all the sights you showed in the video great memories came back to me. To celebrate my birthday I went to a Japanese restaurant in Sydney when I went to pay for my food I said to the lady at the counter meccha oishii. Big mistake she must have thought I spoke flute Japanese so she kept talking to me. I just smiled and nodded my head and said hai like I understood. God knows what I agreed to. Lol . Thanks Rion for another great video. I did mount Fuji climb was totally exhausted after it I sat all night in hot spring recovering. Go to the top you can do it. Cheers mate.

The Hokkaidon looks sooo good! :D And I love your sequence of shots in Akihabara from 28:30 onwards. It makes me emotional. I haven't been to Akihabara since summer of 2018 and would love to go again soon. And I've learned a new word now: Fuzei 風情. Indeed a word tinged with a lot of Japanese feeling, and fleeting beauty. It's a beautiful word.

I really like these puzzles, they are so attractive to me 😁, those who are interested in wooden puzzles can buy it😍, 11:45...! 🦖😂🤣👏. 13:53 oh😯😧! Kaonashi is gone😐, never mind, maybe next time and there will be great luck waiting for you🫵🤨⭐️👏! 15:59 wow! seafood sashimi don, oishiii 🤤😋 🍺, 16:19 cute Rion 😄😂! Curry that is too spicy or very spicy will not taste good and will destroy the original taste of the food☹️😄. Oh! a new Ayataka flavor hojicha roasted green tea latte, I want to buy it, it should be delicious 😋😁! 26:58 ~G🦁Ö~ ! 30:38 Beautiful night view🌃. But for super novices who do not have any formal mountaineering experience, they are still very worried before reaching the top of Mt. Fuji. Thank you so much Rion let’s keep walking from Asakusa to Uno to see the latest situation update 😎👍🤝!

I stayed in Asakusa all of May. I would get up very early every morning to walk around, and witness the morning prayers. Then eat breakfast at Denny’s. Good deal with the “dorinku bar”. I also spent hours at a stand up whiskey bar in Ameyayokocho. The owner was a cool dude! So cool to see you walk around those places. 😊

Very good video Rion. Temperature in Texas has been ranging 106 and higher lately. I would travel to Japan just to cool off! Also the smell in the apartment after your return could have been coming from the toilet. If the water in the bowl gets to low then that will allow oder from that line (p-trap) to escape. Maybe why the apartment had an oder when you first moved in. May have not been occupied in a while.

Thanks for the update! To be honest find the Osaka mascot way cuter than Akiharbara's mascot. The Osaka one looks like it could be a character from Monster's Inc. Too cute ❤ Ah man the craw machine strikes back again 😢😂 About the Mt. Fuji situatuon, it is natural to feel anxious and excited at the same time. Especially this is something that you haven't done before. Sounds like you are making all of the necessary preparations to be safe. No matter what happens during the climb, we are proud that despite those feelings you are courageously climbing. There were many times I felt like that- new career, new job, meeting new people, or going to a new place. But you know what? I think that's what life is all about, facing those mountains and overcoming the unknown. 😊 Let's keep walking and growing 🎉 Thanks for trusting us to share your feelings.

Hey Rion, sorry to hear about your apartment being smelly again, but I'm curious, is it a sewage type of smell? I assume the plumbing in Japan is the same or similar to the US and we use what's called a P-trap in most outgoing water pipes (toilets showers, sinks) to prevent sewage gases from coming back up. Basically its a bend in the pipes that needs to have a little water in it all the time but if you haven't used it in a month and it's hot, it could have dried up and now it's letting the gasses out. The easy answer is to just make sure you run your water at least every two weeks or so, but if it keeps happening it could need repairs.
