2023 Supra SE Review

Supra upgrades ballast as nautique lowers it. I have officially become a Supra guy. Better prices, more standard features, better surf system, and they are actually trying and thinking of new things. Nautique boats did not add anything from 2022 to 2023. They forgot what got them to the top and have fallen off.

Ok, here's my ?. Do you really need 4700 pounds of ballast for a great wake?

@@erickwardwell962 You actually do in this particular case. The longer the boat the more ballast you require for improved displacement. I've surfed behind the previous generation SE and they had to add 1000lbs of lead to get a wave with good power/push all the way through the curl. Once they made the adjustment it was excellent. So it's nice to see Supra listening to it's client base so they don't have to carry as much lead around. I have a 2021 G23 (paragon hull) with the Swell Surf supplemental ballast upgrade and my wave is world class as a result. It made the wave much more firm for airs and gave me push so far back. I've ridden behind nearly every boat in the industry and displacement is everything. Centurion has this figured out better than anyone.
