I got one as soon as they came out. Have 1400 miles on it now. An exhaust changes the entire personality of the bike. It’s a great commuter but also very fun in the twisties.

I hope this platform sticks around for a while, currently rocking a Triumph 675 and want to give one of these a go in the future, even if its a power downgrade it just looks so fun

I'm totally biased hahah I love mine! Ordered an Arrow complete exhaust, filter and have my appointment for remapping. I'm hoping to love it so much more after all is done and installed! Got it in August and have 14,000km

Why did you do remapping? Do you feel a huge difference? Whats better? Tanks :) Have ordered the same bike, will get it in 2 weeks 🤩

@@patrickh.4708I chose to remap because it felt empty in low RPM, lost everything it had due to the complete exhaust. Normal thing that happens with bi-cilindric bikes. Remapping made it even better than before, even my mechanic tried it and he was impressed!

Getting it as my first bike. I'll put it in the slower B mode as most reviewers suggested which has smoother power delivery. Cant wait!

Bro, the quickshifter does not need to release gas to shift up or down, it's just advice based on what the Suzuki technicians in NJ taught me.

Thanks man! I don't use quickshifting often since the bikes I ride so it takes me a bit to remember while riding a new bike.

I could see it doing pretty well on this bike! I’ve personally grown to enjoy handle bars instead of clips on for comfort now. Maybe I’m just getting old too lol

Does it pull as hard in the upper rpms as your cb650r? Like in a roll on race will it pull on your CB?

I believe the GSX-8S has more top end power than my CB650R The more experience I have riding these middleweight naked bikes, the CB650R is super well balanced, but compared to others, it lacks in the higher end pulls compared to 750-800cc bikes (think Triumph/Suzuki)
