@@lartymarf appreciate your comment. The styling would be each person preference. The induction style would be more common looks but these covers stand a little more and you don’t see them a lot. This is how they should have designed the rims on the Cybertruck. Except instead of making them hubcaps, make them alloy rims without any overlap over the tire. And forget about the tire with the special sidewalls too.

Dad, the KZbinr Engineering Explained talked about wheel size as another way to improve range. Have you considered a smaller wheel size in your tests, like say 19" or 18"?

I don’t have spare tire at the moment but I have tire repair kit in the trunk just for emergency. I think modern tire would be a great choice for spare tire but I wouldn’t keep it in the car all the time maybe just for road trips. Thank you for watching and your great support!!🙏😃

I am looking for hubcaps (teslaYLR) that will give the greatest increase in range. For the summer I have 20, for the winter 19 and I want to lose as little range as possible at low temperatures

Mine didn't come with the protective strip and scratch my wheels. Would you happen to know the width and thickness of the adhesive strip. I found a few other people with suggestions. I've ordered 2 sizes that were recommended already and didn't work. Thank you for the video.

Same here, my CT wheel covers came without protective tape seals which are just home weather stripping. What tape width works best, 1", 1/2" or 1/4"? Can you also install without the tape seal?@@dadstoyscars​
