I drove the Kluger Hybrid base model 2wd while down in Tasmania and traveled over 600 kms and when I filled up to return the hire car on purchased $55.00 of fuel, which I thought was very good and I think it was about 6 to 7km per 100, plenty of room and very sure footed, I was very impressed

Just got mine 💯 recommend over the rave4 but only in “”hybrid”” after 5K efficiency is still impressive with 6L/100km which is very good, the GXL is the sweet spot as value for money, I get so many compliments when people enter the car, Vehicle is quick to respond, Fast, Comfortable, Spacious.

Will the smaller turbo motor be as bullet proof as the 3.5. Doubt it.

The Grand Highlander (Grand Kluger 🤔) is the one we need here. So much better looking inside and out. Roomier and higher quality interior. The max hybrid model, even better. This model kluger while improved, is still a let down inside and out. Still a Toyota fan, but current asking prices, and what is on offer making it more difficult. We miss out on their best models, but still get smashed with the 'Australia tax'. Current prices are making Toyota's harder to justify, especially with the current lineup overpriced.

I think toyota have made a mistake downgrading from the V6 to the 4cyl I have a 2022 GX V6 and I don’t have any trouble getting 9 to 10 litres per 100 kms city and 7.5 rural where it excels. As for emissions that is highly political and totally unjustified when carbon only makes up less than .4 of 1 percent of the atmosphere. Please report the truth in our motoring emissions. The V6 motor is world class. Great suv

Feels like a biased review. 😂 Editors hate Toyota it seems. Ranking Sorento or Santa Fe above Kluger in comfort is outright bias. In safety they rated Toyota lowest

the English word for this car is BLAND and they should have called it The Bland Roader - its perfect for farmers and country folk but is too cumbersome for the city however may be perfect if your family consists of very FAT people - losing the V6 is a mistake as this turbo charged 4 cylinder is overworking to equal the power of a v6 and will not last as long - my advice if you live in the city and do some highway travel there are plenty of much better large and midsized SUVs - don't be a miser and spend some money to get a decent SUV
