I had been using Veloz almost 3 months and everything seems ok but 1 most important thing to look into was the sound from the engine was horribly loud when accelerate . It’s really annoying and very very disappointed.

I think because of cvt

underpower and cvt issue

I understand you bro I'm using Veloz also. Definitely the CVT pairing cause the sound, but partly also cause it's a 1.5 only. Sad we can't have larger cc but then $$ can't be sub100k already

@@etjh6560 Toyota should have equipped with better sound insulation 😭😭
@nikekoh6100 Жыл бұрын
@@SayangMalaysia1234 sound insulation wont solve de problem, the sounds is come from your front under bonet, the only way is make engine and gearbox stronger to reduce the noise

Veloz have acc stop and go function? I thought min is from 30km/h obwards till 110km/h only
@etjh6560 Жыл бұрын
Can only activate it above 30kph However if activated it can slow down to complete stop on its own Then RES button or throttle will resume the ACC However if accidentally disabled then habis, can only enable at 30kph and above only
8:13 you sure? CVT is better than AT? for myself i will always prefer AT
@etjh6560 Жыл бұрын
It depends, CVT can do more than a 4AT but if compared with a 6 AT then different story. But these days the CVT isn't pure like the old days pre 2010 where the CVT don't have fake shifts unless you specifically activate the 7 speed mode Though the thing is back then CVT was designed for fuel efficiency not spirited driving, then ppl have a bad perception, mainly to me, is lack of understanding CVT is so good it got banned in F1. I'm thinking it is definitely possible to make CVT for performance as well, but manufacturers don't due to lack of demand Anyway Toyota cars aren't known for their spirited driving haha They've always been underpowered, handled less, and built more for utility. Mazda on the other hand builds for driving, but their AT isn't just the reason, they have the good pairing of their unique NA engines as well to make it work That being said, AT do feel nicer due to the acceleration feel you get when it downshifts
@nikekoh6100 Жыл бұрын
@@etjh6560 agree at your point, but personally i still prefer AT, and mazda is comfort because of there special tune engine compression ratio, but my friend who drive cx5 feedback to me when climbing to genting the car will laggy like underpower haha

@@nikekoh6100 That's cause it's a CX-5 haha honestly i don't understand why the CX-5 is designed the way it is I personally don't understand the SUV craze these days. Am a sedan/ liftback/ station wagon/ MPV (like estima/odyssey) person To me SUV must be legit like the oldies not the modern day SUV ish lookalike

@@nikekoh6100 Drove friends X50 bfore, it's nice, however, i just seriously wish they can put that engine & transmission in a sedan like an Altis or a Mazda 3. SUV really not fun to drive aside from the feeling like as though very big and tough and can bully people (SUV ain't tough, shhhh) Body roll, drag, expensive and big tyres, need more engine PS, fuel economy, Though being a hypocrite, i do weirdly find XC40 a nice SUV Crossover....hmmm. And the CX-30. I guess its fun to drive in urban environments, but on highways Sedans rule.

@@etjh6560 i have ordered my x50, will be arriving next week, i choose to take risk (bad qc control) for HP and DCT. yes the oil consumption is bad, but give and take lor, high HP always come with bad fuel consumption, initial plan was to purchase cx-30 too, but the bonet space...(im a salesmen that need to bring machine to visit whole malaysia client) can not la, even backseat passenger also dont have space ..... so just downgrade and pick x50 senang
Yup, seeing and test driving the Veloz then only can feel the "Atas" for the sub 100k package. Hope you get your Veloz soon!!

@@automachi From the Veloz whatsapp group, heard that there are Alza buyers who also swap their order to Veloz due to shorter waiting time and after test drive felt the better NVH and comfort levels
NVH is very different Veloz NVH from external noise can beat a 2011 Accord Only the engine a bit noisy Suspensions are longer travel and can absorb bumps softer, more comfort Seats are a lot nicer, this is something got to test the car to feel it, look same but definitely feel different Of course Roof rack Rims, wider tyres Tyre inflator & emergency kit Wireless android auto and carplay Wireless charger Toyota Dashcam (diff from Perodua) Puddle lights, ambient lights Telescopic steering (important for comfortable posture) 3 years free GPS tracking and phone app Unlimited mileage warranty for first 5 years Included boot tray Visors No need to gearup anything Idk if I missed anything but yeah these are the difference I can think of The NVH, ride quality, suspension and seat comfort definitely make a difference on long distance drive
