It's amazing, they do a fantastic job organizing all those cars for the show. They even have a police escort to keep them all together. It's awesome because they are all grouped together inside the show as well.

After going to Turkey Rod Run in Daytona for 25+ years, I'm hanging it up. The staff has decide to implement rules against any personal scooters inside the venue. Apparently, they don't realize their crowd is getting older and not able to walk miles in a day with assistance or a scooter. They have enforced no personal scooters, however you can rent their personal scooters for $100/day. Go figure! Not sure how any board could make this decision without violating ADA laws. I guess it sucks that we are getting old and in the way of their agenda.

Oh geez, didn't realize that...I'm sorry they implemented that policy. It may be in everyone's interest that is having this problem contact the board and advise them of the hardship it's causing patrons. Maybe you can find someone that can share the cost of the rental with you.... and you and both of you can take turns using it throughout the day? If you're interested, be sure to check back again as I will have postings for the spring event in the next couple of days. I'm sorry that occurred and is causing such a hardship on everyone.
