I FINALLY bought an Arteon! I have been looking for one, but they are rare. I got a CPO that was a service loaner. For me, it checks all the boxes. I did not want an SUV, and I am brand loyal, having owned a VW product consistently since 1985! I am completely satisfied!

I have a 2021 Arteon SE and it does have projector LED headlights but incandescent turn signals and I believe that my year was the last one to actually have real quad exhaust tips surrounded by a chrome bezel around it.

My 2021 SE Arteon has real exhaust tips. But if fake they wouldn't bother me because the real ones show DI. soot which ain't pretty. The car has been stellar... The mpg is fantastic. Stay golden PB.

Are rear brake disks really vented on US models? On my Arteon in Sweden they are only vented in the front?

Yea I was thinking the same thing. Thinking it should probably be around 36ish for the Arteon.

@@goldpony Yea, I wonder if it's because of the really thin tire sidewall. Maybe the recommendation is higher than normal but I didn't think it should be that high.

The dealership was cranking mine up that high but I had to tell them the 18" ones are only 32 psi...they never even looked..

yeah, the display on the TPMS tells you what the pressure should be,, it should be 35 @@goldpony

The 20” wheels with 245/35R20 are recommended to be at 42psi.

Hii! I have a question: would you pick a 2024 kia seltos EX line or a 2023 Hyundai Kona Preferred w leather and sunroof. Thanks!

They are pretty similar since they both have the same powertrain & platforms. However, I like that the Kona & Hyundai in general offers the 3yrs of free maintenance and I have a Hyundai personally but in this case I'd probably go Seltos. The Seltos is less expensive overall, better styling IMO and most of all is an IIHS Top Safety Pick where the Kona is not unfortunately. Just my opinion tho.

Yea I think mild hybrid systems are coming soon to all turbocharged vehicles. It seems more and more companies are starting to add them and it really does make a big difference both with eliminating turbo lag and adding mpg's as well.

Too bad the Tiguan 2.0T is NOTHING like this. Recently bought a 2019 Tiguan and so disappointed in VW after owning a Passat and Jetta with a 1.8T. The Tiguan's 2.0T from the factory is junk.

@@rj9617 It's loud and the power has been neutered. I got a stage one tune from APR which improved acceleration but it's still a very loud engine that feels unrefined compared to the 1.8T.

Overpriced compared to what?😂 And remember, actual transaction prices of new left over Arteons are typically $7K to $10K below window sticker.
