The car is good for the city, the autobahns are not for such a baby. It's a bit boring on the expressway after 100 km per hour. There would be an atmospheric VR 3.6. Glossy steering wheel is a tribute to Chinese fashion.

It's slow. GTI Clubsport is so much better, capable of 250 kph.

what’s the suspension like? It it too hard over bumps or would you say it’s ok for daily usage including longer Autobahn rides? Is it harsher than a comparable Audi a1?

I drive my 2020 Polo GTI 3y daily now. Its a bit harder than normal cars, but very comfy under hot hatches. Speed, agility and stability is surprisingly joyful! If you just cruise, its more like a limousine feeling, if you fullthrottle, it goes crazy. (But feels way faster than it is though) On long travel (600km+), it can get a bit annoying listening to music or doing conversations, bc everything above 130kmh it starts to get louder from the exhaust and engine. If you drive chill, you can do 5.4L/100km on autobahn which surprised me. I fell in love with it, bc its one of the most interesting Allrounders! -> But sadly expensive.

I find it a bit bumpy personally and I recently had an Audi A1 for a while which felt worlds apart, much softer suspension. But then they are different specs of cars, and wheels probably make a difference. The Polo GTI is a fair bit quicker than an A1 so you have to ask if you want a comfy ride or quicker car. I’d stick with the GTI.

I daily a 2022 polo gti, the shocks are very stiff, audi a1 30 tfsi is much more comfortable, 40 tfsi i dont know but im assuming it's like the gti
