At Wine Spectator's 2023 New York Wine Experience, the thrilling (and delicious) Chefs' Challenge starred dishes and wine pairings presented by José Andrés, Emeril Lagasse, Eric Ripert and Danny Meyer. Meyer's dish, Spanish Mackerel “Casino” with Soppressata Vinaigrette, Pickled Ramps and Breadcrumbs, was prepared by chef Lena Ciardullo and paired with Paul Hobbs Chardonnay Russian River Valley George Menini Estate 2021 and Louis Roederer Brut Champagne Collection 244 NV.
