I am so excited to see someone else using Notion for cross stitch organization! I've been using it for a year or so and love it so much. I clicked so fast when I saw another Notion cross stitcher!

Thank you for sharing your Notion template!!! I was very tired of using multiple apps to stay organized and this is the perfect answer for me. I am a former systems analysis and coder, so repeating data in multiple places is a pet peeve of mine. I spent a day revising and adding new sections to the template and am now breathing a huge sigh of relief now that all my data is in. I added a direct link to each project in my digital file storage on the projects page, stash spreadsheets (fabric, floss, & notions), a vendor directory, my purchases spreadsheet, a project wish list, available coupons database, and helpful links sections to the template. I love it so far. Added a new WIP in less than a minute and everything is where I need it all in one place. I currently have more than 50 projects in there. I did upgrade from Basic because I like to document with a lot of images but it’s worth it to me. Thank you so much!!!!!

Hi Elizabeth :) Love Piper's cameo this time - she seems a little sassy, but hey, Christmas trees are a fun new toy, I imagine! I loved your WIP parade, and I commend you for working to get your total number down to just 5. I do like your idea of "replacing" a WIP with another one by the same designer; I might give that a try. And Notion is so neat! I've never even heard of it before - thanks for the recommendation and walk-through! I hope you and Bobby have a great Christmas 🎅 and happy stitching! ☺

I’ve never seen Notion before but it makes my spreadsheet/organization heart so happy! I’m also so thankful that you made a copy for us to use. That is so sweet of you bc I would’ve copied your design to start anyways.

I just found your flosstube! I really enjoyed your tutorial for Notion and will definitely give it a try. I enjoy the planning side/data side of my cross stitch hobby, so I think I will enjoy it. Thank you for sharing! Happy New Year 🎉

Thanks for sharing your Notion template. I found your flosstube by searching for Notion and cross stitch and really enjoyed your video! I currently use Trello for planning and Airtable for tracking my stash as well as projects but am frustrated with the database size limits, which means I can't have all the info I want to track in one database to link. I'm going to play around with notion to see if I can get it work for me using your template as a base! I"m excited to see if there is one app to rule it all! LOL!

Thank you for sharing! I've been enjoying catching up with your videos while working, but I had to skip ahead for a WIP parade. Notion looks like a really great way to stay organized for people with lots of projects going on. I may need to look into it for all my creative work, rather than have it all floating in my head! Also, Piper's protestation when you told her to stop playing with the Christmas tree was too much haha. Hope you have a merry Christmas!

Love seeing all your projects. Your organizational program for your WIPs, etc reminds me of Airtable, which I use for work projects. Have a wonderful rest of December! See you in the New Year 🎉

Haunted Library grabbed so many of us this fall! I really want to finish mine before next Halloween. I've never done WIPGO before, but my New Start Squirrel went bonkers in 2022, so I'm thinking about doing WIPGO in 2023 to try and wrangle my WIPs. I had never heard of Notion before watching this video, but now I need this in my life. It just sings to my little organizer heart. ❤ Merry Christmas! 🎅

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for sharing your template. Notions seems like a great app to have. I really need to get better organized. Who is your wipgo admin? Do you play it on Facebook? Also, you mentioned where you get a lot of your needle minders, but I couldn't understand what you said. It kind of sounded like absent minder, but not sure. Thanks for sharing all of your projects. I feel very motivated after watching you. Have a great week, and Merry Christmas!
@FrizzyLizzieStitches Жыл бұрын
Hi Diane! The WIPGO admin is Jessie of Jessie Marie Does Stuff. She will post the called numbers on the WIPGO Instagram (wipgo_official). She has videos on her channel explaining how WIPGO works. I’m sorry I didn’t explain that! Also, most of my needle minders are from Mad for Minders on Etsy (so sorry for my mumbly speed-talking!) Thanks for asking questions 😊

Hi. I really liked how you had Notion set up but I can’t find your template. Do you need to have the pro version to search for it?

There is a link to the template in the description box of this video. You do not need the pro version to use or find it. Good luck!

How do you count the stitches on your patterns? So in Notion I can put like 500 stitches for goals on Moonlight sampler. I'm new at all this, I'm filling out wipgo.
@FrizzyLizzieStitches Жыл бұрын
I don’t count how many stitches I stitch. Instead I find it easier to track how much time I spend on a project. I know a lot of people who do count stitches will either physically count the stitches they stitch or they will use pattern keeper to help count.
