Gotta give my props to the kicker. Josh Chu was 7 seconds and 11 guys behind at 2 miles. I would like to have seen how he got to coming down the hill in 3rd 10 yards back and kicked the last 400 to beat those guys.

I was the 2nd place runner in this race, and let me tell you, Josh passed me like I was walking 😂

Ponderosa teammate of Josh Chu here. He worked so hard his senior year to be able to kick from 800-1200 out or even splitting by preserving early on. In track he was in state for the 3200 and was in the middle/back of the pack for the first 5ish laps but ran 67 every lap until lap 8 and with the last 3 laps moved up to around 7th-10th by running these consecutive 67s going into the last lap getting all the way up to 4th.
