There is adjustable spacer in the right side lover and upper bolt hole. When engine is in place, it is tighten with special tool to the engine, so there is no space between the motor and the frame and then the bolt can be tighten without bending or cracking the frame. That is why it was difficult to remove the engine, it is probably not bent frame

you could have wrapped a breaker bar in towels and put it in the wheel to lock the rear wheel.

A tourch got my front sproket off with a 2x4 jammed in the rear rim spoke it was the same way very deff.

You should worry more about the integrity of the frame. From that kind of force the steering head could have cracked inside. Fixing it up and selling it will then be really really bad for the new owner.
