A huge shoutout to the Candy girl for revealing yourself in such an open and candid manner !!! Despite the less than ideal conditions where you are, it's beneficial for you to enjoy being outdoors. Not only will spending time in fresh air and open spaces improve how you feel, it can open you up to meeting new people. Be a tourist in your own neighborhood and explore places you’ve never been to before or familiar places as if seeing them for the first time. Watching some of your recent travel videos gives me a strong sense of nostalgia that is filled with fond memories. It's like walking down memory lane. Being alone is okay, being lonely is not !!! I wish for you what I wish myself. Thank you for your generosity and kindred spirit. I send you warm fuzzy thoughts !!!

Congratulations on taking the plunge and making the move to London. I am sure that the decision to leave Hong Kong was not an easy one, but good on you for making it. London is a fabulous place - at least most of the world seems to think so. I am sure you will have a blast. And as a beautiful and successful woman, I am also sure that you will have no problem meeting someone. (You ran into Hugh Grant without even trying for heaven’s sake!) Sometimes all that it takes to find love is to be in a different place, where you are perceived by those around you as being different and exotic. (It worked for me.) Best wishes for 2024. I've been living away from my family for seven years now and I feel happier 😁. Usually I eat outside, but this year weather's been horrible, so after Christmas celebration in the church and got a cake, I just straight went home and eat the cake by myself 🥧 Merry Christmas, Candy 🌟

Hi Candy! I always enjoy your videos. They are informative and also heartfelt with your personal comments. I have been to Melbourne and enjoyed my time there. I love older architecture as the downtown area of my home town in Eastern Canada was burnt to the ground in 1870's and rebuilt with beautiful historic homes full of hand carved staircases and fireplaces. I grew up on the ocean as well and had a boat since 5 years old. One of the reasons I live in the Philippines is the weather and the ocean with so many beautiful beaches. I can feel your thoughts so well when you mention these things. I have also visited London many times, and appreciate where you now live. London is a wonderful city and always with great things happening. I love history and you are living smack dab in the middle of it! Enjoy your time there as it will be full of wonderful memories! Its the darkness in the London winter that really affects you, and the length of the winter too. Although when you get into the summer there, its the opposite, light until 10pm. Great that you have recalibrated your expectations of residing in London, and the UK. Welcome to the (in)famous English weather. Having lived there myself alone for an extended period of time, I have learned to enjoy it, and develop habits that fit. As a suggestion, if you like football (aka soccer), or cricket, or fringe sports like lacrosse / lawn bowling, there are many sport team social groups for blokes (guys) or lasses (gals) that you can participate in.
