20230917 DJI 0122 Avata Went Crazy after regaining GPS

Had a similar issue last fall: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4HNp6esjMx1qtU I was flying at an abandoned construction site. Avata lost GPS upon entering the building, and upon exiting, when GPS signal was regained, the drone veered off course instantly, causing it to collide and flip over. Fortunately, there was no damage.

Took off without GPS lock, the GPS managed to get lock once I returned back to near take off point, the moment it get a lock, it rush downward in full speed, not responding to any stick movement, than hit the ground, and started fly upwards in full speed again… and toppled over and crashed

That's ome of your escs starting to fail. And avata does weird stuff when it has no gps or looses gps lock. You wont be able to control height, most likely start drifting. Can't increase height. Its some programming error. Essentially it takes a big crap.

@edowadokaizen possibly one of your escs might be going. They can still function till they fully crap the bed. But yes. Avata has some weird glitches when it doesn't have full gps or loses signal. Hadn't come across issues when it got gps signal. I would suggest getting full signal before lifting off. My one avata suicided into a river when it had partial signal then lost it. The replacement was a refurbished. Bit choked about that. Anyways it had done two death spirals. Kinda like what happened in your video. I'm guessing signal came into play, drone compensated by trying to be where it thought it was and pushed your esc too much. Maybe.
