I would like the war to end today and for the Russians to withdraw from all occupied territories. But I am a historian and a realist. Russia destroyed Poland and stayed with us for 123 years. 1795 1918. In 1920 Russia tried to conquer Poland but was defeated and fled. Then, together with the Germans, it invaded Poland in 1939. I am omitting the period 1939-1945 here. From 1945 to 1989, Russian communists ruled Poland for 44 years. But Russian soldiers were stationed in Poland until 1993. Now we are free from Muscovites. The history of Poland explains 100% the reluctance of Poles towards Russians. Today, Poland is arming itself, which 95% of Poles support. Hi, thanks for the comment. If comes to Russia, unfortunately (or fortunately, it depends) they are not threatened to run out of this type of equipment quickly, because they still possess quite a lot of tanks in reserve, and they can modernize them to make them quite capable. If comes to the numbers, The Military Balance states that Russia has around 5,000 tanks in various conditions in reserve. Some will be easy to bring back into service, some not. It was even proven by a KZbinr named "Covert Cabal".

These statistics don't seem to be realistic, as Russia (many times more powerful than Ukraine) captures and destroyed many times less tanks. How can a much more powerful side lose many times more tanks?
