2024年末，大河美術將隆重呈現臺灣藝術家王尋的創作歷程，於藝廊空間首次舉辦個人雕塑展。展覽以「導演型雕塑家」與「動態間的捕捉手」兩大核心策展主軸，探討王尋如何如同電影導演般，透過其創作捕捉稍縱即逝的感知瞬間，並回應當代社會的瞬息萬變。
本次展覽精選多件代表性系列作品，包括「時差雕塑」、「視差雕塑」與「人生系列」，全面展現藝術家結合傳統雕塑技藝與數位創作的實踐。透過燈光、空間與雕塑之間的動態對話，展覽營造如電影場景般的流動氛圍，帶領觀眾穿梭於時間與情感的層層堆疊之中，同時體驗空間與心理張力交織出的深刻意涵。展覽特別設置互動檔案區，揭示王尋返臺前的創作軌跡與經歷，串聯其作品背後的時代脈絡，帶給觀眾更深層的理解與啟發。誠邀各位走入這場雕塑敘事的全新維度，一同見證這位跨越傳統與數位時代的先驅者，成為不可或缺的的關鍵證人。
At the end of 2024, RIVER ART GALLERY will present a comprehensive exhibition of Taiwanese artist Xun Wang’s creative journey, marking his first solo sculpture show in the gallery space. The show is curated around the themes of “A Director-like Sculptor” and “A Dynamic Moments Capturer,” focusing on how the artist, much like a film director, uses sculpture to capture fleeting moments of perception while responding to the rapid changes of contemporary life.
The show showcases a selection of representative series, including the “Space in Time Sculpture,” “Parallax Sculpture,” and “Life Series Sculpture,” demonstrating Wang’s innovative integration of traditional sculptural techniques with digital media. Through a dynamic dialogue between light, space, and works, the exhibition creates a cinematic, flowing atmosphere, guiding the viewers through layers of time and emotion, while intertwining the tension between space and the psyche to reveal profound meaning. Additionally, this show features a special “Interactive Archive,” which uncovers Wang’s creative trajectory and experiences prior to his return to Taiwan, linking these with the broader historical context, offering viewers a deeper understanding and inspiration.
