Traded in my 2017 4runner sr5 limited for one of these. Yes i know i know I KNOW but im really digging this Honda. Its got so many features that Toyota is missing out on that would make the 4runner a lot more fun and special to have. Plus the acceleration is much more responsive than the 4runner ever had.

Great job - I dig how helpful your videos are… easy to understand and no fluff. Maybe I missed it but, any chance you could show us how to intentionally lock your key FOB in the 2024 CRV? I used to lock my FOB in my 2019 Pilot when I’d go surf and open the car when done surfing using the emergency key but, I cannot figure out how to do it with our 2024 CRV Sport. Any help is appreciated!

I traded in my 2020 CRV for a 2024 CRV EX. I am really loving it. I do miss some of the features from 2020 in the new 2024 EX. The feature of the CRV locking by itself when you walk away 10 feet is not working properly on mine.

on the EX-L I test drove, when using apple carplay navigation, it would show my next navigation instruction on the gauge cluster. Is that an EX-L only function? I didn’t see it when you were scrolling through the driver gauge options

I'm gonna have to get a GoPro so I can record while having my phone paired to the vehicle for these kind of features. I currently just used my phone to record videos.

Hey Crazy Chris, see if you can solve my problem. When an incoming call rings, the volume just about blows my ears off. Is there a way to keep the volume down?

I would check under the menu option on the touchscreen our play with the volume during an inbound call as it's ringing)

Does 2024 CR-V EX trim have wireless apple carplay and android auto?

No. The CRVs with the 9in touchscreen has the wireless car play and android auto. That would be the following trim levels; EX-L Sport-L , and Sport Touring. Thanks for watching

The EX trim doesn't have a powered lift gate. You have to manually open the hydraulic trunk/hatch.

Hi Chris my 2024 crv ex only get 25.8 mpg and 26 mpg when ac turn off. I don’t know what i have done something wrong but I’ve never could get 28-34 mpg.

It took some time for our 30 mpg on my wife's 2021 Honda CRV EX. There's many variables when it comes to mpg. What is your current mileage on the vehicle?

@@leebp7382 Right now the fuel economy is not going to peak during the winter season because the engine is going to use more fuel to warm it up. Sometimes you have to put in a few thousand mileage before getting a good average MPG.

It's always a tight fit with two car seats. It may just vary on the adult

I think it would be very very tight. I owned a 2018, traded it in for a 2020, traded that in for a 2024…. I can tell you I really noticed how much smaller inside the 2024 is especially in the front. I’m a plus size person and I really see it in the drivers seat. The 2020 was the best. As big as car seats are I’d say probably no to the average size person but absolutely no to a person more on the heavy size.

Just picked this car up yesterday, 5December. One of the things I didn’t like right away was the fact that the vehicle won’t connect to Apple car play through the USB-C port. You have to use the other port so that requires me to have two different cables in my car for my phone.

What happened to the fog lights? Raise the price and provide fewer features. Sheesh.

They did remove the fog lights, home link (garage door), and cargo over. While they have added traffic jam assist, traffic signed, rear seat reminder, open the visibility through and around the windshield and side mirrors, added a snow mode, gone from 160-watt audio system with 4 speakers to having 240-watt audio system with 6 speakers, and a couple small changes.

I have a 2017 Civic EX-T with th 1.5L. 82k problem free miles so far. I would buy the HR-V if it had that engine. Tons of high mileage exampls out there.

The gauge cluster is primitive. It isn't even sharp or crystal clear. The interiorwise is just OK not the greatest. Other competitors have a way much better material interior than this.

Nobody uses CDs anymore. They're obsolete! USB flash drive is the way to go or your smartphone music app. The interior features are NOT the best nor user-friendly. The infotainment center NOT the best either.
