2024 Ascend Legacy Scholarship

We are incredibly honored to award the Victor Tung Legacy Scholarship to Divya Shenoy, a rising sophomore at Rice University, Class of 2027.
The Ascend Legacy Scholarship honors a recently passed member of our Ascend network who made significant contributions to our community. This year, we remember Victor Tung from our Ascend Canada chapter. Victor was a DEI champion, dedicated Ascend member, and a passionate mentor for the next generation of leaders. He was a trailblazer in making our communities more inclusive.
We are grateful to continue Victor’s mission of uplifting our community through this scholarship. Victor aspired to see APIs reach their full potential, and we believe Divya will achieve incredible milestones for our community.
