2024 Audi RS7 Performance - Twin Turbo V8 Evening Commute

Met a rich guy who bought this with all the bells and whistles. He loved the work we did on his house and when I saw it in his garage, I was practically drooling. He offered to take me for a ride and proceeded to whip me around. I loved every second... Takes corners at crazy high speeds like nothing and it pulls you into the seat like those UFO carnival rides. Realistically I'll probably never own one but I'd be insanely happy if I did.

I hate how expensive they are, it's always out of reach. I make more money as I get older, but these cars go up in price at the same rate. You literally have to 1) Have your parents die and leave you a house so you have no other expenses 2) make 500k+ a year. Even my friend who makes 400k/year won't get a car like this. It's simply better to put 152k in the stock market than to blow it on this car that will just depreciate. Need to make money at a rate that its so much 150k just is irrelevant to you. Also I'm going to be real, if you care enough to spend 150k on this car, when the next model comes out that is better in every way you will want that. This isn't a 6+ year car for most buyers. It's nice to say "don't doubt yourself" but even in the USA literally 1/100 of us can achieve this car, all there is to it. Like I COULD afford it, but I'd have to eat PB&J and ramen noodles for years. Also I mean just look some stocks, much better to put the money there. Even Dogecoin is a better choice. Not impossible but not something to bank on.

RS7 has been my "attainable" dream car since I was around 15-16. I just think it's hilarious to have a luxury audi sedan with 600 hp and a super mean V8 exhaust note.

They don’t have good long safety tech. They don’t usually have lane keep, auto assist, most don’t have adaptive cruise control. Their build is good but they do miss a good amount of features

I know this interior is quite a few years old, but Audi interior is still my favorite. It looks so clean and is so practical, especially compared to so many cars today. And it feels so well built. Especially compared to merc’s modern interiors which is so creaky and looks like 2010 Samsung font.

Worth mentioning that even if you don't opt for the 22" wheel packages, the smallest you can go is 21" on the RS7 due to those massive brakes. So you can mitigate the crashy ride somewhat, but not as much as you'd like. Unless you downgrade the brakes, I suppose.

Air suspension is the default and also the more comfy ride, but if you want to drive it properly you need the DRC suspension which is an extra on this trim level. Go for the vorsprung spec, you get it all plus a sunroof.

The blind spot indicator is my biggest complaint with the current gen Audi. It used to be a one step process with my accord now becomes a two step process driving my A5. It annoys me enough to revert back to old school style of turning my head to check the blind spot lol.

I loved the RS7 in 2014-2015.. my only problem is that it hasn’t changed much, it feels dated to me. At least they have finally updated the interior and gotten rid of that screen that’s been around for over a decade, the same one that’s still on the S5/RS5 for whatever reason. You know what screen I’m talking about, the one that popped up on the S4’s, except it was a tad bit larger on the 5’s/6’s/7’s. The interior actually looks like it should for such an expensive car, so that’s good to see, I agree I like the diamond seats better, I would definitely option those instead.

Beautiful in Nardo Gray. I have an A7, and I love it. Same space and most of the same options. Mine has the tan interior. But the RS just has the performance and the sound of thee V8 to go with it. If I didn't have kids to feed, I'd get one. :)
