It’s good if it’s same part number as it makes life easier and this also ensures that the coding will be 100%. However in the past I’ve coded parts in for bmw with different part number and it’s worked without any issue and there’s been of one that hasn’t worked.

Question: 1. What happens when subscription expires, do you loose full use of the unit? 2. During the coding procedure; where is it pulling the data and is this an extra charge? 3. Can the unit read/erase BMW Canbus/module/Chasis data? 4. What is the cost of the Autel subscription.

1- when the subscription ends it only stops at what ever update you have and you won’t get any updates unless you pay for it. Other wise the machine will work as it should. 2- there’s no charge it’s free. 3- yes upto a limit, it will not be able to delete some stuff if you want to dig into bmw stuff then I recommend you get dealer software. 4- depends what unit you get. On this machine it’s roughly £1300 a year

Hi, I have maxisys pro and im trying to code the side mirrors of a bmw f32 to unfold and fold with the car key beeper. Do u know which of the options do that?

I know this is an old video but I’m currently looking at autel. Can these units code/programme to a car if the part fitted is second hand? Like a used abs module or steering column module on e90 bmw?

Not sure if you can but look on autel website and it should tell you. The cables I’m not sure again but type in on eBay or Google “autel Coding Cable”

hello, this machine can do everything that the eyes type bmw machine if I want to put paddles on the steering wheel or change the steering wheel or headlights from halogen to LED this machine can do it, please take this doubt or have a restriction is not the same as the one bmw software thank you

Hi unfortunately this machine will not be able to do almost things that Bmw software can do. None of the Autel or snap on is capable of doing this. Only dealer software is best for all the functions.
